The holidays are over!

I realize they were over about 20 days ago, but what can I say, I’m a slow bloomer. Finally ready to jump back in the mix and start writing again. What’s on tap for 2015?

1. Publishing my first novel (working title Seraphim). I’ve been looking for a traditional publisher on and off, but I recently took a fairly interesting seminar that turned me on to the benefits of self-publishing.

2. Finishing my second novel (Remake of a classic fairy tale). The first draft will be done by March, and the second by July (hopefully).

3. Write 5 short stories. I’m not well practiced in the art of short story writing, but I’ve often heard it said that they are more difficult to write than novels. I’ll find out this year.

4. Read 50 books. I know I’m not the only one who’d rather go to the bookstore than the movies (especially with some of the crap they have scheduled to come out this year). I also can’t walk into the library without coming out with at least 5 books that I’ll never have time to read, but I just couldn’t leave behind. This year, I’m going to knock 50 off my list.

That’s probably enough resolutions. Looks like I’ll be busy in 2015, which is just the way I like it.

What about the rest of you? Have your resolutions already fallen to the wayside?
